Skiing Enrichment
At Broadfield we are lucky to have been able to start to provide Skiing enrichment funded by the WSF (Winter Sports Foundation)
The first group have safely finished there course earning themselves a level 3 Snowflake certificate. Everyone did extremely well and improved throughout the weeks. They all enjoyed the experience and learning something new.
Students get the opportunity to attend Ski Rossendale on a Friday afternoon to learn how to ski in a safe fun environment.
They start by learning how to put on boots and skis, getting on and off the lift, balance, then each week they learn new skills like turning, going backwards and going off jumps.
We are excited to get more of our students attending this enrichment.
