Welcome To Broadfield Specialist School

Broadfield is an outstanding secondary provision for students with generic learning disabilities. Our vibrant learning community offers bespoke curriculum's to meet the individual needs of learners. Our amazing facilities enable us to deliver a curriculum that goes above and beyond. Our highly skilled dedicated staff are passionate about keeping students safe, happy and cared for, inspiring them to succeed.

We believe in putting the needs of our young people at the heart of everything we do and are rightly proud of our students and all they achieve.

I have had the honour of working with SEND children and young adults for over 20 years. To be the head teacher of Broadfield Specialist School is a tremendous privilege.

On a daily basis I work alongside our team of remarkable staff that are extremely talented and highly experienced.

We are lucky to have state of the art, specialist facilities which provide exceptional learning opportunities for our SEND students who deserve an outstanding learning environment.

I am very passionate about increasing links with our local community, as I am also keen for parents and carers to feel an integral part of our school community.

The most wonderful thing about our school is our fascinating and inspirational young people. The wellbeing of our pupils is at the heart of everything we do. Forming strong and respectful relationships where everyone feels valued and supported, ensures that students feel safe and happy in their school environment and are ready to learn.

We have a wide range of educational needs that requires bespoke approaches and curriculums. Although we follow an increasing number of accreditation routes the development of life skills and social experiences are a crucial part of our wider curriculum

We have weekly visits for visitors and perspective parents. If you would like to look around our fantastic school with opportunities to meet our vibrant school community please phone the school office, to arrange.

Yours sincerely,
Mrs. A Wade
