Readathon

This Term, students will be taking part in a whole school Readathon to raise money for the charitable organisation, Read for Good!

Read for Good work in schools and hospitals across the UK to make reading accessible and fun for all. They provide book carts and story-tellers to help bring a smile to children during their hospital stays. Students are being encouraged to get involved with reading (this could be books, comics, news or even their favourite movie/TV show with subtitles – whatever they would like to read) and collect sponsors with 20% of the proceeds going to school to buy new books for our library. All students have been sent home with a free bookmark and sponsorship card to get started. Happy Reading!
