Last week was National Careers week 2025. At Broadfield Specialist School, students engaged with careers activities including our annual Dragons Den style Competition.
Our Dragons were local businessman and school governor Paul Roberts, businessman and Pastor Duncan Allton, and Stephen Menet. Both Duncan and Stephen volunteer at Union Road Community Church Food Bank where some college students do work experience.
The judges were highly impressed with all business proposals and found choosing the winners really difficult. Eventually they did settle on runner ups and winners from KS3 and KS4. They were 3Wareing as KS3 runner ups and 3Parker as KS3 winners. In KS4 the runners up were 4Hardman and the winners were 4Haworth. Well done to all staff and students for what was a great week.
