Equine Facilitated Learning- EFL
Some of our pupils have enjoyed the incredible opportunity to partake in Equine Facilitated Learning at Riding For The Disabled (RDA).
This learning approach using horses, promotes the development of life skills for educational and personal goals through equine-assisted activities.
Extensive research has proven that the benefits of EFL are copious and include promoting confidence, increasing creative and critical thinking, helps decision making and problem solving. It improves communication, interpersonal skills, develops self-awareness and empathy and gives skills for coping with emotions and high stress situations.
