Broadfield's Got Talent 2024
What a magnificent way to end the year! Staff and students at Broadfield put on an incredible performance. Showcasing the fantastic talents of Broadfield Specialists School students.
Staff and students at Broadfield put on an incredible performance. Those who entered participated in up to three rounds, auditions, semi-finals and the BGT final. We welcomed to school, 3 celebrity judges; Actor Marc Finn, Singer/ song writer Nathan Grisdale and local MP Oliver Ryan. They watched and offered feedback on over 25 acts. They then had the difficult task of reducing those 25 acts to the final 10. From that 10, they were able to choose the top 3 acts. It is important to mention that although not every student made it to the final, every student performed a winning performance. The judges were blown away with the talent they witnessed. Now on the the BGT 2024 result: In third place, we offered congratulations to Bethany Ward. Bethany performed a beautiful rendition of Christina Aguilera’s Beautiful. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Charlotte Hindle took second place, with an equal as moving performance of My Heart will go on by Celine Dion. Her passion and emotion was felt through out the auditorium. The BGT 2024 winner was none other than Theo Elson, Theo performed Another Love by Tom O’Dell. He performed it on the keyboard demonstrating his incredible piano skills that would rival the likes of, Beethoven and Mozart. It was a fantastic day, full of talent, passion and dedication to the arts. All the students who participated in any/ all of the rounds performed with maturity and skill. We are looking forward to putting on an even bigger and better performance in 2025.
