Progress 8 is a measure used by the Government to monitor a schools’ performance. Progress 8 measures students’ attainment from Year 7 to Year 11 in 8 GCSE subjects. A positive Progress 8 score indicates that the majority of students are attaining above their expected level, a negative value indicates that the majority of students are attaining below their expected level, in these 8 GCSE subjects.
As a special GLD school, the vast majority of our students do not attain at GCSE level. Some of our higher achieving students do take GCSEs in some or all of the following subjects:
