Our school band visited Tor View school on Friday 13th July to participate in their annual arts festival. It started out as a typical British music festival; overcast, rainy and gloomy. However, Broadfield made the sun shine. As we started our first small set of music the sun began to shine. The school band in total played four small sets. We played a variety of songs, such as, ‘Seven nation army’, ‘Another one bites the dust’ and ‘Friends’. Our school always headlines the festival and we played ‘Can’t stop the feeling’ as the finale to the whole event.
The band, as always, were superb. The professionalism of the students was amazing and they represented the school immaculately. Well done to all the students and a massive thank you to Mr Lord and Tor View for inviting us.
