What a way to end the term! Today we held a special assembly for all the staff and pupils to celebrate our students’ achievements. Prizes and certificates were awarded for those who had achieved the most points for their houses, the most inspirational students in each key stage and some were given Arts Award accreditations. We were lucky enough to be able to welcome to our school the Salvation Army Band, who played for us as we sang Christmas Carols and songs. Staff and students have paid a donation to wear Christmas jumpers today and the proceeds were presented to the band. Mrs Mills played the First Noel and In the Bleak Midwinter on the flute as part of the Christingle Service. Peace and joy to everyone this Christmas.
